Description

SNOW DEER heated electric socks are made of 80% cotton, 12% polyester and 8% elastane. This makes them comfortable, naturally warm and durable. They come in black, gray and combinations of black and gray colors. Available sizes range from S to XL.

SNOW DEER heated socks warm up your entire toe area. 7.4V rechargeable batteries with 2200mAh capacity will keep your toes warm from 2.5 to 6 hours depending on temperature settings. Extra batteries are sold separately if you need additional warming during long outdoor activities.

These heated electric socks have three heat levels available. Lowest heat setting (93-100°F) will provide up to 6 hours of heat, medium (100-113°F) up to 3.5, and highest (113-131°F) up to 2 hours.

You can change temperature levels by pressing the button on the battery pouch. You do not need to take out the battery out of the pocket, as this can even be done through pants.

These heated electric socks are one of the best products on the market right now. The will work great with casual outdoor activities in the cold such as hunting, fishing or hiking. However, the battery pouch can get in the way during extreme winters and may feel slightly uncomfortable.

SNOW DEER is one of the most reliable manufacturers of electric heated socks, gloves and other heated products on the market. These socks are durable, comfortable, and will keep your toes very warm during cold weather.

This is bought for going out to fish. Or when its very cold. The feeling of the socks is so comfortable. Heats up pretty fast and i hope it lasts a long time.

  2. baj

They exceeded my expectations. Used the lowest setting and never did my feet get cold in freezing weather on both days of the hunt.

  3. Customer

Apparently I have bad circulations on my feet. While fishing in 33 degrees weather and wearing 1200g insulated boots my toes were still getting cold when sitting for one hour. Not anymore ! I used the socks in the last 4 days on low heat settings and my toes never got cold again.

  4. Vincent T. Frank

I like the socks for motorcycling. I can feel some of the Heating mechanism and wiring when I’m wearing them, but with my motorcycle boots and sitting on the bike it doesn’t bother me at all. I’m not too sure how they would be when hiking. I’m very happy with this purchase. The battery lasts very long, and it’s very easy to pull up my pant leg and adjust the heat setting.

  5. Kasey

I was hesitant to buy these due to lack of reviews but these are simply amazing.
I have bad circulation that causes my feet to get cold easily. These kept my feet warm on the lowest setting and the best part is, they can remain on a continuous 8.5 hours! (Full workday) I turn them off once I get in my car to go home.
They will warm your front top/bottom foot and toes and they are comfortable to wear. Would reccomend these to anyone looking for heated socks.

  6. Customer

It’s the ticket if you want warm feet in very cold weather. Bought for deer hunting in single digit weather. Had to buy a pair for my son for hunting. Both of us very pleased. Remember to charge. Use for working outside as well

  7. Sydney Swartz

I bought these to wear around the house in winter, and at first I thought they weren’t working, but then I put my shoes on to go get the mail and I could suddenly feel how hot they were. Basically they need to be enclosed in shoes to contain the heat they produce.

I bought a pair of slippers to wear with them and they’ve been working great. I put them on the high setting for about 10-20 minutes then go down to low and just maintain that heat. You can definitely feel the wires when you’re walking on them so if you want to use them for hunting or hiking keep that in mind.

  8. Customer

This socks are ok. I got them for my wife, and initially, she noticed no heat whatsoever. I held them and could feel some heat, so I suggested she put on some shoes or slippers to trap in the heat, and then she could feel warmth. On high, they are just warm and work ok, but I wouldn’t purchase another pair.

  9. Customer

Absolutely love these socks!! I’ve had heated boot inserts and the expensive heated socks these are so much better!!!!!! But they are thick so keep that in mind when you wear with ski boots. And all other shoes or boots will feel tighter. But honestly the best heated sock EVA.

  10. Eric

One of the socks doesn’t heat at all and the one that does, even at the max setting, barely gets warm at all. Very disappointing given the price. Seeking a return and refund

  11. Glenn Basore

I bought two pair of these socks so I have two back up batteries ready and socks. The socks are of a good quality as well as the battery packs. Easy to charge with the nice 110 plug charger. There are 3 settings for heat but they don’t get hot enough for me, maybe the circulation in my toes/ feet aren’t very good ?
The heating area is in the toes of the socks so I don’t really feel the wires. I easily hand wash them in hot soap water and rinse throughly and blot dry on a thick towel to get most of the water out. I then put them in a warm place and let them dry throughly for the day .

  12. beverly

The battery is completely uncontrollable and placed too low so it hits in ski boot. Bad but and I missed the return windo since we hadn’t been skiing yet.

  13. Balka

Perfect socks for the price i used them during night shift at -15 Celsius. didnt get cold feet on the medium setting

  14. Denali96

These are super high quality socks (I use them for winter cycling and will try them for skiing as well). The only draw back, which is fairly significant, is that the type of button used to control ON/OFF and Heat is easily depressed under winter clothing. On a bike ride, because the sock unit is under my winter tights, the button automatically keeps turning off. I could see the same thing happen with this sock under ski pants. They are made for activity, yet the button is too easily depressed. (UPDATE: After numerous winter bike rides, I figured out that if the button / sock is the outermost layer of clothing at my shin, the button is gone. I still see this a possible issue for skiing but cycling has been fine. Excellent warmth)

  15. John Patrick

I was surprised at how comfortable these socks were. The sock itself is soft, not stiff like some other heated socks. The battery pouch isn’t really noticeable after a minute or two of wearing them.

I got about what the advertised battery life was out them, not that I sat there with a stop watch. Just paid attention to when I turned them on and when my toes seemed to get cold.

The charger is nice, has two plugs on it so both batteries can be charged at once.

I tried them in two different pairs of boots. One a light pac boot, the other a pair of unlined leather boots. I used the hottest setting in the leather boots in temps around zero. Toes were comfortable for the 2 hours or so I was outside. Used the lowest setting with the pac boots. Toes were comfortable in the same temps.

These made my icefishing excursion at -20 F windchill tolerable. Because the batteries last varying lengths of time depending on the heat setting, I tried to keep them at lowest setting so they’d last as long as possible. We only fished 7am till noon and they lasted the whole time and my toes were just warm enough. I say “tried” to keep them at the lowest setting because the button that changes settings is easily depressed by the top of my boots. When I took them off, one side was on high and the other on medium. Good news I guess is that both were still on and heating my toes after 5 hours. I’m glad I have these. I am going to look into the possibility of purchasing a second set of batteries to have as backup for longer excursions.

  17. Customer

I work in the freezer and the socks keep my feet so warm. The material is very soft. Battery life is fare and charging don’t take long. Small lightweight battery. Love the socks

  18. Michael J. Baron

I purchased a pair of these socks to inside of my waders when we are fishing in 40 degree water. They have made a HUGE difference in the amount of time I can stay in the water. I had a minor problem after 3 weeks of use, but their customer service department fixed the problem in a very short time. I can definitely recommend these socks to anyone who fishes in ice cold water.

  19. Isreal Schottel

They took awhile to heat up. I didn’t notice the heat as much in the cold but my feet never got cold. Socks were a tad “twisted” feeling when I put them on. Not a bad product. Only heated up toe area however u did like how it did so 360 degrees.

  20. Lisa A. Vines

They fit perfectly but even on high, wearing them inside and on high, they did not get very warm. I am concerned about them keeping me warm enough on motorcycle trips.

  21. Kim

Used these socks while out bow hunting. Would always get cold toes after sitting in the tree stand for a few hours, but not today! These socks worked great. Had a little trouble finding and depressing the button to turn them on under all the layers and with my gloves on, but once they were activated they heated up in a matter of seconds. They lasted the whole time I was in the stand, which was about 3 hours this morning. Charging them up so much can go out this afternoon too. Looking forward to no more frozen feet while enjoying my favorite pastime!!

  22. alan ingram

I have neuropathy in my feet and they stay cold like I’m standing in ice water even in the summer. These socks keep my feet warm. I get 12 + hrs of heat on low. This makes my 6th pair and probably won’t be my last. I love the new design but the battery pouch could be about a 1/8″ wider
With the new zipper design I had trouble getting the battery in. Other than that I’m 5 stars all the way!!!

  23. Willis

Wow so nice when you finally get battery charged up! But unfortunately the battery takes longer to charge than it actually lasts. Took me 5 hours to charge gave me 4 hours of heat. Really nice but was not expecting the battery to take so long to charge. I may return unless company can send me extra set of battery’s.

  24. Doug

Socks arrived quickly, fit as expected, good quality material, heated up quick, battery pack stored securely and well above my ski boot without interference.
Looking forward to put them to the test this ski season.
Great seller with quick response for questions and assistance.

  25. Challenger

I have used these six times sitting in a tree stand intemp 33° and lower with only 600 gram thinsulate boots. They keep my feet comfortable on low and a couple of times I had to turn them up to the second level for about 15 minutes to take the chill off. The only thing i can “complain” about is I wish the batteries would last longer. I bought an extra set so all is good. I couldn’t give 4 1/2 stars so they get a 5 star.

  26. Clemson Tigers #1

First hunting trip this year and they kept my feet and toes very warm, exceeding my expectations.
It was in the mid to upper 20’s outside and the socks worked perfectly.
I have diabetes and my circulation is bad in my feet so hunting in the cold has always been hard for me, but not anymore. I hope they last for many years to come but only time will tell.

  27. Customer

These socks are very thick and warm at baseline which I feel like is better than most of the similar items in it’s class. With heating option and multiple settings to make the battery last longer you pretty much can’t go wrong with this product. I live in North Dakota where it is often -20 and have never had issues while wearing these. Definitely worth the money

  28. Josiah P.

These socks are the bomb! The best thing about this hunting season was that I didn’t have to come out of the tree stand until the batteries on these ran out which was about 4 hours. Next year I will have a back-up set of batteries so I can make it until lunch. If you use these socks with a good pair of boots you will have no problem keeping your feet warm. If you were to use these while walking/hiking around your feet will be sweating so keep that in mind that these socks are for sitting in the cold. 5/5.

  29. Shelley Seslar

I was worried these wouldn’t work in a tight ski boot, working hard, but they do work well. Battery pack pulls up high enough to avoid the boot cuff easily. I bought the medium and I have a size 10.5 Womens foot and tall but full calfs. I liked the indicator light (very bright) that I could see through my ski pant gaiter to know if sock was turned on and which setting. The wires for the heating are pretty prominent feeling so was worried about pressure in boot but I didn’t have any problems wearing them for a half day skiing. Do wish they were less expensive but saved me buying heated inserts which are insane money so… WIN! And I can wear them in the house to warm my feet too. 🙂

  30. enjoybeta

I use these socks while I ski. I am 5’8″ with around size 8 feet and chose the medium size. The length of the stocking is slightly longer than the height of my ski boots. Although there are buttons, battery packs often squeezed out by my boots.
Additionally, after using for a year. The heating wires inside the socks are misaligned. Some are tangled together and start rubbing(burning?) my foot 🙁

  31. Lisa Carey

Update: The manufacture responded within 24 hours. You need to hold down the on button for about two seconds to turn on the socks. I didn’t see this anywhere in the directions but it worked and the socks are heating.

I purchased a pair of the Snow Deer heated socks from Amazon for my father for Christmas. It was a highly anticipated gift that was ultimately a failure due to the socks not heating. The batteries indicate that they are charged with the green indicator light however when attached to the socks, the socks will not turn on. I have contacted the manufacturer so we will see if the customer service is better than the product.

  32. Donald Chappa

The heated socks are made long to fit high outdoor boots. Unfortunately the tops are extremely narrow which makes the socks very difficult to get on. The sewn on battery pockets further restrict the narrow tops since they limit the stretchibility. If you have slim legs these heated socks may be OK but average to husky users will have difficulties.
Battery packs are rated at 2200 mah which will operate the heating elements about 5 hours at the middle temperature setting. The socks provide a lot if warmth. Fabric is 92% cotton with other fabrics to provide some stretch.

  33. Stewart & Andrea

I bought these socks for the 2020 ski season, I used them in -10C conditions, they worked GREAT on the medium setting and still had battery life after 6 hours. You will not feel much heat outside your shoes or boots, the minute you put them in your boots they get hot. Make sure you wear them so you can access the control button easily, first time I wore them I set them on high and they were way too hot. They fit great in my ski boots, I would recommend them to anyone.

  34. Customer

Simply put, I charged the batteries until the green light came on plugged them into the socks and… NOTHING !!
I have been wearing them for several hours, clicked the buttons looking for some form of heat.. NOTHING !!

They are comfortable, granted, but this is not what I paid for. Hopefully the company will see this and replace them voluntarily.

  35. A. Pavlacka

Sock size was not accurate on the website. Foot size was ok, but sizing around shin was extremely tight/uncomfortable to the point of being unwearable.

  36. Laura

I have a condition (Raynaud’s) which causes me to have painfully cold feet. Even thick socks are not enough to help warm them up, only warm water or a heating pad will help. I was debating about ordering these socks or the less-expensive versions on Amazon. I went with these socks because the reviews seemed to indicate that these would wash regularly better than the other options.

The socks are very well-designed, in that the rechargeable battery is removable, and you can adjust the setting (low/medium/high) easily without taking off the socks. Also, I was surprised that the heat is immediate–no delay while the sock heats up. For me, it’s enough to just put them on high for one minute, and then switch to medium or low to maintain the heat.

I suspect few other users will use these on a near-daily basis like I do. But if you do, or even if you just want a pair of high-quality socks that will last you for years, I recommend these heated socks.

  37. Robin Davenport

Went skiing and snowmobiling in jacksonhole, -8 degrees, socks worked great. Never had cold toes. Had to turn heat down. Awesome and comfortable. I am a 6 1/2 shoe size, size 7 worked well

  38. Customer

The Snow Deer heated socks changed my winter experience completely. I used them for cross country skiing, winter hiking and downhill skiing. I have not had cold feet once this winter. As soon as you turn them on a gentle warmth begins. I keep them on the lowest setting and the batteries last for a full day. I cannot say enough about how great these socks are.

  39. Paul S Smith

Love them. Easy to use and they kept me feet (especially my toes) warm all day on the low setting. The medium-high setting was to hot for me. Wore them while attending an outdoor football game in NY- no problem keeping my feet warm.

  40. Customer

Do not buy these socks! Although they heat up great and the battery’s last as discussed, the wires which heat the sock and run up and down your feet are so uncomfortable. Both on the bottom and sides of your feet. They are not comfortable in a ski boot.

  41. Customer

These socks did a great job of heating my feet over the fall and winter of last year. I hand washed them when the weather warmed up and put them away when they dried. I charged up the batteries today and the socks didn’t turn on. Why say they’re washable if they don’t work after washing? I’m going to try to find the manufacturer and let them know too.

  42. Skier

I bought these to use while downhill skiing, so my comment only pertains to that application. I did not use them enough to comment on the heating. These are not suitable for use in downhill ski boots as they are much too thick. If they fit in your ski boots, your boots are too big.
